Things happening at Raw Connection...

 

Easter Classes

This Thursday at Greenslopes we will have extended social dancing till 10.30pm. Friday is a Public Holiday so if you don’t have to work, come and join us for a great night of dancing. Class at Ashmore on Monday the 5th of April will be closed but we hope to see you the following Monday.

 

Focus at Intermediate Class

We have has a great response from the footwork variations in the intermediate classes over the last couple of weeks. For the next few weeks during our intermediate class, we will focus on footwork syncopations that you can easily apply to all your patterns. We will show you how to spice up your dancing with the use of slides, hitches, taps, holds and ball changes!

 

Competition Results

Congratulations to Stephen & Rachel who won the Open Slow Swing Category at the State Titles in Brisbane last weekend. Also, Stephen & Katie won and Dave & Rachel placed second in the Newcomers Category, awesome dancing guys!!! The National Titles will be held on the first week of June this year, please see us if you are interested in competing or spectating.

Why not purchase your WCS classes in bulk and save yourself some money. We now have a variety of multiple class passes available.

• First Timer Pass (save 57%): $30.00 for 5 classes
  This pass is only available for purchase during your first class at Raw Connection.  
• 5 Class Pass (save 15%): $60.00 Adult, $50.00 Full Time Student
• 10 Class Pass (Save 22%): $110.00 Adult, $90.00 Full Time Student

SWINGSATION 2010 Registrations Now Closed

Due to an overwhelming response to Swingsation 2010 and space limitations at the venue, we have unfortunately had to close registrations. We would like to thank everyone for their support for our first major event and sincerely apologise to anyone who missed out.

If you have missed out, please email us your details and we will add your name to the stand-by list and notify you if more spaces become available. We look forward to an awesome weekend in June and an even bigger Swingsation (perhaps at a bigger venue) in 2011.

Raw Connection Embroidered Tops

We have a limited amount of embroidered Raw Connection West Coast Swing tops for sale at class. Ladies singlet tops are $20.00 each and men’s collared button up shirts are $50.00 each.

 

West Coast Swing Shoes

Raw Connection now has a full range of sizes of both men’s and women’s shoes suitable for WCS. Similar shoes normally retail for $170 in the stores but we are offering them for $100 a pair. Check out our website for more details.
