West Coast Swing Routine

Join us for our hot new public routine to Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz

Choreographed by US Champions Ben Morris & Melina Ramirez exclusively for Raw Connection, this routine is focused on musicality and packed with cool patterns, plays, footwork and tricks. If you are an intermediate level WCS dancer, find a partner quick so you don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity! 

There will be an opportunity to perform the routine before the end of the year.

Bookings & Payment due this Thursday!!!

Dates: Sundays 11, 18, 25 July and 8, 15 & 22 August 2010
Where: Dance HQ, 4/16 Pinter Drive Southport, Gold Coast
Time: 2.30pm - 4.30pm
Cost: $130 per person to be paid by 1 July 2010   

 

Swingsation 2010 Wrap Up

Swingsation 2010 was Freakin’ Awesome and everybody had an incredible time!!! If you’re already having withdrawal symptoms or you missed out on the weekend - don’t worry, we already planning to do it all again next year in June. As soon as we have confirmed the dates we will let you know.

We had over 140 dancers including 100 competitors attend the weekend. Everyone left on a high and the feedback we have received has been great. A huge thank you to all our helpers, judges, interstate teachers & dancers and especially to our fabulous guests Ben & Melina. You guys are awesome and helped to make Swingsation 2010 the success it was. We couldn’t have done it without you.

The Swingsation 2010 DVD of the event is now ready for delivery! The DVD includes short summaries of every workshop, performances by Ben & Melina and competition footage. If you missed out on grabbing yourself a T-shirt on the weekend, we also have some Swingsation T-Shirts left in limited sizes. Why not purchase your WCS classes in bulk and save yourself some money. We now have a variety of multiple class passes available.

• First Timer Pass: $30.00 for 5 classes (save 57%).
  This pass is only available for purchase during your first class at Raw Connection.  
• 5 Class Pass (save 15%): $60.00 Adult, $50.00 Full Time Student
• 10 Class Pass (Save 22%): $110.00 Adult, $90.00 Full Time Student

 

Raw Connection Embroidered Tops

We have a limited amount of embroidered Raw Connection West Coast Swing tops for sale at class. Ladies singlet tops are $20.00 each and men’s collared button up shirts are $50.00 each.

 

West Coast Swing Shoes

Raw Connection now has a full range of sizes of mens and womens dance shoes with a low, wide heel making them ideal for WCS. Similar shoes normally retail for $170.00 in the stores but we are offering them for just $100.00 a pair. Check out our website for more details.
